The Devil's Party

If you've been exploring my art portfolio and the sketches on this page, you might have noticed something missing—male characters. I often struggle with properly portraying the beauty of them; and, surprisingly, I also haven't ventured into writing a story with a male lead character before.

Feeling the urge to step out of my comfort zone, I've taken on the challenge of bringing Caine to life, both in words and sketches.

I'm genuinely excited to see how Caine's story unfolds on the pages of my book. It's a journey of discovery for both of us, and I can't wait to dive deeper into his character through my artwork. Keep an eye out as I share more of Caine's world and journey right here in this portfolio!

OC Sketches

About 70% of my original character art features Kiera Blythe, the main protagonist and the face gracing the cover of my self-published book: "Kiera, The Beast in Black." Throughout the creation of the 800-page narrative, I explored various ideas and visions for her portrayal. However, each attempt to sketch her out failed to capture the essence of my initial vision—until now. The portrait you see is the culmination of countless iterations, the only final version that truly satisfies my artistic vision.

I find joy in experimenting with different art styles and drawing inspiration from fellow artists' techniques. In the sketches below, you'll witness my journey in fleshing out Kiera's character, alongside glimpses of other key figures from the story. These include new sketches of characters set to debut in my upcoming novel, "The Devil's Party." Each stroke of the pencil is a step closer to realizing the vivid worlds and compelling characters that inhabit my imagination."
